Technical Characteristics

The SKG security system makes it possible to create outward opening doors with SKG 2-star or 3-star certification depending on the number of hinges used.
The burglar-proof kit, which is compatible with counterplates and M12 direct screws for fixing hinge to profile, is available in versions for two-wing and three-wing hinges.
Burglar-proof kit for two-wing hinge, composed of:
• no. 1 side adjustment cartridge with steel pin offering elevated cutting and corrosion resistance, to be used to replace the cartridge supplied with the hinge
• no. 2 supports with stainless steel balls to be inserted in the seat of the hinge to profile fixing screws
Burglar-proof kit for three-wing hinges, composed of:
• no. 2 steel half-pins offering elevated cutting and corrosion resistance, to be used to replace the half-pins of the side adjustment cartridge supplied with the hinge
• no. 3 supports with stainless steel balls to be inserted in the seat of the hinge fixing screws in outward opening applications
The burglar-proof kit must be used in conjunction with SKG class 2 (2-star) or class 3 (3-star) plugs to replace the standard plugs supplied with the hinge, depending on the chosen configuration.
The SKG 2-star plug is used on doors with 2 hinges (2 or 3 wings) equipped with burglar-proof balls; the SKG 3-star plug is used in the case of doors with 3 hinges (2 or 3 wings) equipped with burglar-proof balls.
