PARALLEL ARMS

Technical Characteristics

These arms enable opening the sash outwards, parallel to the frame. Generally the intended use of these arms is for an operable element in a curtain wall. The added value of this type of solution is its stylishness because the curtain wall no longer "breaks" the reflection of the light but maintains uniformity between the surface of the operable part and the fixed part. The parallel arms are reversible arms packaged in pairs, that is 2 pcs in the pair are identical and equally applicable on either side of the casement. They are available in single and double cross versions for the heavier casements of considerable dimensions. It is possible to combine single-cross arms with double-cross arms when the arm thickness is the same. For sashes weighing > 60 kg or sized > 1250 x 1250 mm it is required to use a sash opening and closing system that uses motors. The especially sturdy, durable arm is made entirely of corrosion proof 304 stainless steel. The window opening can also be frictioned by turning the screws on the sliders.
