Technical Characteristics
The striker can be used in all the ranges of profiles providing for a flat frame (without channel). The curtain wall ranges typically provide for a flat frame. The art. is fitted by fixing the base to the frame with the self-threading screws supplied. The striker adjustment is +- 1.8 mm. and allows varying the pull on the fixed pawl (and therefore the compression of the gaskets on the profile). The brass retaining element (slider) increases the performance of the article, making it ideal for outward opening/curtain wall applications where the specifications are particularly strict. The product comes with a 3 mm (1 mm + 2 mm) folding spacer able to bring the striker near the sash in case of an excessive distance between the two profiles. The product works in conjunction with a Giesse fixed pawl.
