Technical Characteristics
Products 07893 and 07894 are rain sensors that can be connected directly to the Varia Slim Radio chain actuator art. 07888 without requiring a control unit. Rain sensor art. 07893 is connected wirelessly and hence does not require a physical (cable) connection with the actuator. Rain sensor art. 07894 is connected to the actuator by means of a cable (5 m long) supplied with the product. Both products must be connected to a power supply of between 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is not affected by the formation of dew or humidity because its heating system keeps the contact “clean” at all times, avoiding any risk of nuisance closing commands. The rain sensors are supplied with a bracket for fixing in an outdoor location. The external sheath of the product is made of material designed to resist weathering and UV radiation; does not promote flame propagation.
Functions
A rain sensor connected to the Varia Slim Radio actuator allows the casement to be closed automatically in the case of rain.
